Join us for a Harvest Dinner at Peace Tree Brewing Company’s Root Cellar located to the east of our Taproom in Knoxville, Iowa on Sunday, October 1 at 5:30 pm after Farm Crawl 2017. The feast will feature locally raised pork and produce prepared by Chef Suman Hoque of HoQ restaurant in Des Moines, Iowa. Each of the three courses will be thoughtfully paired with a Peace Tree Beer for a flavorful experience that will be a comforting as a crisp evening in fall.
The cost is $45 per guest plus tax. A social hour will be held from 5:30-6:15 with the first course being served at 6:15 pm.
Social Hour Beverage: Choice of Belgian Wheat or Mile Long Lager.
First Course: Butternut Squash Soup made with Pierce’s Pumpkin Patch (Chariton, Iowa) squash and local, grass-fed cream.
Beer: No Coast IPA
Second Course: Pork Confit from Lucky George Farm (Derby, Iowa), Early Morning Harvest Grits, and Local Roasted Fall Vegetable and Sauce Duo featuring onion and garlic from Coyote Run Farm (Lacona, Iowa)
Beer: Red Rambler
Dessert: Ice Cream Trio including Homemade Carrot, Beet, and Basil Ice Cream made with produce from Blue Gate Farm (Chariton, Iowa).
Beer: Imperial Stout
