It’s fitting that we received our first snowfall of the season this past weekend, because we turned right around on Tuesday and bottled our Imperial Stout!
Our Imperial Stout is brewed with over 1-1/2 times the malted barley of a normal stout. High quality Belgian black malt and caramel malt contribute to the wonderful chocolate, coffee and toffee characteristics. Belgian yeast is used to add flavorful esters and complexity. Three varieties of hops are boiled to balance the malt with medium bitterness and hop aroma. And at 10% ABV, it’s a great sipper for a cold winter evening!
Imperial Stout is a single-batch seasonal again this year, which has been packaged for distribution in 22oz bottles and draft for a limited time only! Available in our taproom over the Thanksgiving 2015 weekend and making its way to fine retailers across the state in early December!
P.S. We still have bottles of our Barrel-aged Imperial Stout, which we released for our 5-year anniversary this year. These are only available in our taproom, so stock up, stout fans!
