Peace Tree Brewing Co. believes in giving back. It’s why we opened our brewery in a small town in Iowa. It was about creating great beer, but also about supporting the community. Over more than ten years, we’ve provided support across the state of Iowa in big and small ways.
Sometimes, our support comes in the form of creating collaborative beers. Other times, we create a beer that can become a centerpiece for a non-profit fundraiser. In other cases, we have donated beer, root beer, or merchandise to a charitable event. We also host events that give back. In fact, the Red Rocks Arts Alliance was the first event we ever hosted. We are a small brewery, but we’re proud of the impact we’ve had along the way.
We have to be thoughtful about how and when we can donate. If you’re interested in requesting a donation, please read our guidelines below. After you have read our guidelines, please complete and submit a donation request form, which is linked below.
Donation requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the date of your event. After we have reviewed your request, we will inform you on our decision as quickly as possible.
The Giving Guidelines Peace Tree receives many donation requests for charitable events and causes. We always try to accommodate in as many ways as we can. However, we do operate within budget and time constraints and therefore some eligible requests may not be granted. We prefer to donate to organizations aligned with our mission, such as:
Note: we do not donate to organizations without a 501(c)(3) status, individuals, private fundraisers, political organizations or campaigns, religious events or activities, children’s groups, athletes or recreational teams.
We are glad you are reaching out to us. But before you do, note that if your event is less than two weeks away, we will not be able to approve it. For all other requests, you will be notified with a decision via email within a week of submitting your form. While filling out the form, be sure to let us know why Peace Tree should donate to your event. We want to do our best to give back and this helps us determine where and how we can do that. Also, note that Peace Tree is not able to provide staff to work your event. And, if your donation request is accepted, you will be required to pick it up from the location you’ve specified.
