Last year our friend Cory from 3M suggested we give away trees to our loyal customers to celebrate Earth Day and encourage people to be conscious of how they affect the world we all inhabit.   It was such a great success and lead into our great Plant A Wish event, that we are doing it again this  year.  We decided to go a bit bigger on the saplings this year but we didn’t get quite as many so be sure to stop by on Friday anytime after 4pm to pick yours up.  Free to the first 50 customers!

We are also actively looking for ways to resuse and recycle items in our brewery.  One thing we have an abundance of are the pub mix containers.  We have been saving them all along because it just seemed like there would be a great use for them at some point.  The idea popped into our heads to have a kids terrarium project.  (And our definition of kid has a pretty loose age definition.)  We will provide the container, dirt and seeds for you to plant and then enjoy watching it grow.  We hope it will inspire you and your family to grow some things in your garden or at least be curious about plants and our natural world.  These will be available both Friday and Saturday.

The evening finale is a performance by The Brothers Burn Mountain.  This duo from Wisconsin is getting rave reviews for their spirited acoustic sets and we feel very honored that they are making a stop at our humble stage.  The cover will be a very value priced $5.
